After getting married there is nothing more exciting than having a baby. It is one of the accomplishments in life that most married couples seek. One of the things that new parents do is start planning their baby’s christening. A christening is where you take the baby to a priest, pastor, or another leader of the church and promise to bring your child up with God in your home. You pick out Godparents for the child incase anything happens to you or your spouse. You also buy your child a christening gown for the special day unless there is one to pass down in the family. Some family’s have christening gowns that their great grandparents wore and have a lot of sentimental value. If you do need to buy one for your child, you can put it away for the future generations and start your own traditions. This is an important day and you should enjoy it.
